2. Acute primary tonsillitis (angina): clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment, complications.

 

3. Patient complains of tickleness, burning sensation at the throat which increases after spicy meal. Duration of the disease – several years. Body temperature is normal. Obj.: the mucosa of the posterior pharyngeal wall is hyperemic, bumpy due to lymphatic granulas sized 0.3-0.5 cm, palatine pillows are pink, palate tonsils – middle size, tender, with no discharge inside.

What is diagnosis and treatment?

 

4. Complains: general malaise, arthralgia, subfebrile fever. Anamnesis: frequent ARVI, quinsy (3 times a year). Obj.: pharyngeal mucosa is pink, palate pillows are hyperemic, swelled, tonsils are not enlarged, solid, adhesion to surrounding tissues, pus in lacunes. Submandibular lymphonodes are small, moveable, painless.

3. The patient, 47 years old, complains of dry cough, complains boost in the evening, the voice change 2 years ago at the first time. Patient’s job is accompanied by cold and dust pollution. Laryngoscopy: mucosa of the folds and intercricoid space, vocal cords are slightly hyperemiaed.

What is diagnosis and treatment?

 

4. The patient, 36 years old, sharp pains in swallowing, fever 38 cgs, sick for 2 days after cold water drinking. In laryngoscopy: epiglottis is edematous, infiltrated, mucosa is hyperemiaed. Respiration is not impaired.
